I couldn’t ride the Den-O liner to MoA ‘cause I was carrying a lot of stuff - guitar + keyboard + effects and music peripherals. But good thing, I arrived ahead of schedule.
It was my very first gig w/ the band AsianChickenFest (after seeing them play at JCrunch 2009, I was determined to play w/ them). We played 4 songs (Younha - HOUKI BOSHI, Beat Crusaders - HIT IN THE USA, Beat Crusaders feat. Hitomi Takahashi - WO AI NI, Abingdon Boys School - INNOCENT SORROW).
My keyboard could get hardly heard by the audience, lalo na sa WO AI NI.. = FAIL!! *thumbs down*
AsianChickenFest has been practicing INNOCENT SORROW since February (when I first started doing sessions for AsianChickenFest) which was supposed to be performed at the P*NOY AKO event (sponsored by ANIMATION GUILD of the PHILIPPINES), but the event didn’t take place due to logistics complications..at nagkakagulo din n’un at the same time sa PUP. Kahit since Feb ko pa pinapraktis yung INNOCENT SORROW, fail ako sa live..at same as usual, I can only perfect a song after the performance itself..hayst.
After our set, we were interviewed by HeroTV…apir daw kami sa HeroTV!! Astig!!
I wasn’t quite convinced w/ my performance so for the time being, kulong muna sa kwarto at practice!
